On Monday night we watched the Emma Smith My Story DVD. It was a movie with lots of great quotes and a real story on having faith through all of the trials of life. What a strong woman Emma Smith was! I often wonder why we have the many trials in life that we do, or why Heavenly Father, who loves us, allows so much suffering in this world. But, I do know that through our trials and tests in life we learn and grow, and with faith we can overcome and be joyful. Here are a few good quotes from the movie.
"Lilacs do not last very long, things in life rarely do, that makes them all the sweeter." Emma planted lilacs all over Joseph's grave.
