Egg Nog! It makes you feel better!

A glass of cold egg nog, made by a someone who loves you, yum!!

When I was a kid and had been sick my mom would always make me a glass of egg nog when I felt up to eating something again. It sure tasted yummy then and made me feel like my mom really loved me. Well, I hadn't thought about that for a long time but, recently I was looking through some recipes in a little book she had made for us and found the easy recipe.

I made some for my family and the taste and smell brought back those happy "my mommy loves me" feelings. Thanks mom!

Here's the recipe.

HOMEMADE EGG NOG
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 drops vanilla
Blend and enjoy!

Grand Targhee Monday

We had a fun family skiing and snowboarding day on Monday. Targhee got 14" the day before and there was powder everywhere.
It took a couple of runs for some of us to get out "ski legs" back on but then we had a really fun and tiring day.
After lunch at the truck in the parking lot we snapped a few pics.
It has been fun for Kerry at have a little time off before starting his new job!

Cat Crazy!

Does this shot get your attention or what? Is she happy? hungry? or just intense. Either way this image just grabs me.
Here she is again, such a posed and proper cat. "Teeka", "Toff","Graydie", "Little Gray" or "Lady Whiskers" she is a cat of many nicknames. I was putting up the new studio set I purchased and the cat just wanted her picture taken. Such a pretty baby! She is Lauren's cat and they love each other.

And this is "Ivo". Crazy, loving cat! Everyone adores him and as you can see by his pose, he has a laid back attitude.
Kerry just had to get in on the practice session too! He loves his cats and I love that he has such kindness for animals!
