My Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a couple of weeks ago. I had a very enjoyable day! The kids and Kerry got me wonderful gifts including a Sheri Dew book, flowers, charm bracelet, Kung Fu Panda DVD and CoCo Madimoselle parfume. We visited at my mom's house the Saturday before, I love my Mom! What a blessing to be her daughter! Then we visited Kerry's Mom in Shelley and brought her some flowers. While we were there we stopped by Kimmy's grave. We miss you Kimmy!!! Every day!! I have been blessed to have so many great women influence my life.

When we got home Kerry washed my truck for me. I enjoyed watching him wash my truck even more than having the clean truck. What a hot guy! Look at those arms. I love his muscles! I tell him I married him for his amazing arms!
Jasper enjoyed the whole think very much!

Be still my beating heart. Just keep washing the truck honey, you look marvelous!

What is it with water? Draws a crowd.
Son, don't spray your mother!

My job.

I work Wednesdays and Fridays at Legacy Dental (right next to Skyline) for Dr. Oliver Thuernagle.
This is my room set up, nice and modern with computer and digital x-ray.
I have been a dental hygienist for almost 21 years, now that is scary! Here is one of the very few pictures I have of me at work.
And this is a collage I put together for Dr. T on his birthday.

Jemma

We got a new little puppy.
If you could see how adorable she is you would know why we couldn't resist getting her.
Everyone loves her, especially snuggling with her.
She likes to play too and has cute little white tips on each paw.
She is a miniature schnauzer so will only get to be 12-14 pounds.

Just Stuff

So we burned the ditch bank. Not that this flame looks like it will get the job done. Fire makes a cool picture though. Now this flame looks more like it will some dead weeds taken care of. The weather all spring has been cold and windy and the couple of nice days we have been at work. So, we were lucky to find an hour to get the ditch bank burned.
Kason had a great time helping, he really did. Getting to play with matches is usually on the "fun" list for an 8 year old boy. He also made sure the pump, hose and "foot" stayed out of harms way.
This is "Smokey", Lauren's rabbit. He is the daddy rabbit to the batch of babies Lauren has been blogging about at www.aprilbunnies.blogspot.com. He was the first rabbit we owned and has been a good one. Rabbits are such easy, fun, low maintenance pets.
So, we sold our boat. We took this picture before the buyers picked it up. Looks pretty good behind my truck. Kerry is looking good there too and who is that jumping into the picture?
Yup, it's Kason. He timed his jump into photo perfectly!!
On April 18 we had nice enough weather to cook the first smores of the season.
Kason and Kerry had fun playing with matches again.
We get tons of birds in all of our big pine trees. Kerry got this shot of an owl that we see quite often.
And this was just a cute picture of Kason having fun. Notice the duct tape sling he make for his rifle. Such a fun kid!

Track Season

Here is Kieran after finishing the mile run last week. His best time to far is 5:38 and second place his best mile finish. He also runs the 400 with 1:04 his best time so far and also placed 2nd last week.
Discus is his best event and he usually gets 1st place with 125+ feet his best throw and an Eagle Rock school record. He throws shot put too and usually places 2nd or 3rd. It has been a very cold track year so several meets have been postponed or canceled. The conference meet is next week and then track is over. Good luck Kieran you are having a great season!
