Kason's 2012 Pinewood Derby

It was a high tech event. Kason took 4th place this year! He liked first place two years ago better! :) Last year he didn't get told about the Pinewood Derby so we had our own at Kieran's Eagle Court of Honor. He made his Dukes of Hazard car by himself over the summer and raced it at this year's Pinewood Derby.
What an awesome kid!!

Christmas Eve

Each Christmas Eve the kids humor me and put on the Nativity play. This year I was the narrator and Jemma was the black sheep. The girls alternate years at being Mary or angel and the boys take turns at the parts of Joseph and shepherd. We don't have enough kids for wisemen, besides that came later, right? Hopefully this tradition, which started when I was a kid, will continue for years to come!
